Pilates focuses on training the mind and body to work together towards
overall fitness. Focusing on core strength, Pilates is a unique system
of stretching and strengthening exercises developed ninety years ago by
Joseph H. Pilates. This method of exercises strengthens and tones muscles,
improves flexibility, posture and balance, while creating a long lean shape
to the body.
Classical Pilates training includes work on the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda
Chair, Barrels and Mat. Your instructor will guide you through a series
of exercises using various equipment and the Mat to accomplish your fitness
goals. We can also develop an at home program to enhance your in studio
workout helping you achieve your goals and see results sooner!
